WELCOME TO CARLETON UNIVERSITY'S &
CUSA'S ENTREPRENEURSHIP INCUBATOR.
WHO WE ARE
Hatch is the entrepreneurship incubator at Carleton University supported by the Carleton University Students’ Association (CUSA). Operating out of Carleton University, Hatch is a place where student entrepreneurs, creative minds, and people with different skills meet to leverage each other’s knowledge and expertise.
WE HELP OUT STUDENTS BY OFFERING TWO SEPERATE PROGRAMS:
1. INCUBATOR PROGRAM
Each year, Hatch selects a group of lucky and hard-working undergraduate students to develop their ideas into a customer-facing startup to strengthen the product or business development streams of their existing businesses.
The Hatch cohort benefits from a variety of resources and programming, including:
-
Mentorship
-
Workshops
-
Networking and Business Opportunities: Our program focuses on motivation by keeping our entrepreneurs excited and engaged every week with more frequent workshops, meetings, and speaker events.
-
Regular Pitching Practice with Feedback: Regular opportunities to pitch in front of a guest entrepreneur, the Hatch directors, and fellow cohort members.
-
Exclusive Hackathons
-
Brown Bag Check-Ins: Bi-Weekly meetings with cohort members and guest speakers that include; mentors, industry leaders, and local entrepreneurs that keep you on track to build your business idea.
